This project is deeply personal to me, as it reflects my life's journey and the profound impact of fostering on my family. As a father of six and grandfather of three, my experiences as a foster parent have shaped not only my perspective but also my storytelling. With over 40 years in the field of developmental differences, I've been honored with awards such as the Florida Governor’s Award for Building Better Communities and a Daily Point of Light Award. Despite these accolades, I've always seen myself as a storyteller, drawing inspiration from real-life moments.
